Hi, everyone! This is just a short post to say that I made it to Varanasi, and I just was on the roof of my hotel looking out over the Ganges, trying to take it all in--pretty amazing. Let's just say that the hotel has character and leave it at that--but, I must mention that my room actually has a real key! I can't remember the last time I had a physical key to a hotel room. Anyway, they also supposedly have a wireless connection, but it isn't working now--"maybe tomorrow." Luckily, right around the corner there is this great hippie-throwback internet cafe, with Fair Trade handcrafts for sale. I think I will be coming here often!
